Assuming it fits in the dropouts good enough, then yes, no problem. I tried it on an old Fox 100mm travel fork and have about 1” clearance.

Will a 700c wheel with a 32-34 cross tire mounted fit / clear a standard 80-100 26” shock mountain fork.....Will the darn thing work?
