> Here we are at the final weekend of the 2011 Cross Crusade. Hope you have had the time of your life. This weekend we are racing on the PIR Infield course where we have held the USGP races for the past four years.
>
> Since it worked out so well for us to co promote in Bend with the Oregon Handmade Bicycle Show, we have decided to try something similar this weekend. We are honored to be putting this race on in conjunction with the East Asian Mass Produced Bicycle Show. Robot operated shuttles will leave every half hour from PIR to an undisclosed location where you can personally meet the mold that your carbon bike was laid up in. Hope you enjoy.

> Back to serious business. Deschutes will once again be pouring beer, the Last Regiment will be pounding on the drums, and all the usual food vendors will be cooking.
>
> Teams can set up on Sunday morning, no sign up required. There is no pre ride on Saturday.
>
> Please come to the lost and found near the OBRA van and claim your smelly items from past races. It's starting to all get a bit rangy.
>
> The Cross Crusade Awards party is going to be next Saturday the 19th. It's at Indent Studio, 1535 SE 9th. One block South of Hawthorne. Deschutes beer will be flowing along with red and white wine. Madison's will be catering the event with two food selections. The theme for the evening is Acadamy Awards. Dress accordingly and be prepared to brave the paparazzi as you walk the red carpet.
>
> Have fun this weekend. I'll send a postcard from Louisville.
