Hello,
The WashCo BTC is again hosting our "Adopt-a-Bike" program for 50 deserving, but underserved kids in Washington County.
For $50, you can "adopt" a bike for one of the children on our list.
What the kids get:A refurbished bike from among our donated supply of bicycles where we make each one "the best bike it can be for the bike it is." A new CPSC approved Bell(R) Bicycle Helmet. A Medical Information Carrier System - "First Aid in Your Helmet"2 hours of Youth Skills 123 clinic instruction as sanctioned by the League of American Bicyclists
What you get:The satisfaction of knowing you're helping a child discover what you first experienced on your first ride.Helping develop a generation of Smart Cyclists who, by the time they are decision makers, will have a greater empathy of the relationship between motor vehicles and bikes.A $50 tax deduction.
There are several ways to help:Go to our website and click on our Donate Now button and designate where you want us to apply your generous gift.Write a check to the WashCo BTC and mail it (or drop it by (Noon-6 Tuesday-Sunday) to the center at 21785 SW TV Hwy, Ste J, Aloha, OR 97006Want to donate that old bike?
