Top ten reasons to spend Saturday, November 19th in Eugene at the Swap-A-Cross bike swap and OBRA Cross State Championships…

10. Because cross racing is in your blood and as much as you lived for the Cross Crusade series, you’re tired of getting lost in the massive field.
9. You’ve had your eye on the new (insert favorite new cross product), but your wife won’t let you bring it home until you get rid of some of your other bike parts.
8. Because Portland isn’t the only city with crazy-talented bike builders. Check out sweet hand-built frames from Winter Cycles, Co-motion Cycles and Capricorn Cycles.
7. You heard about a raffle for the juniors’ that includes a new set of Rolf Prima VCX wheels and you’re hoping they don’t ask your age.
6. Free “Picky Bars.” Curious? Come see them in person.
5. When was the last time you got a massage right after your cross race? Chance Fitzpatrick will have his table up and ready to go.
4. Because you are only two points away from taking top ten in the GPMC. Don’t quit now.
3. Because Eugene has great beer, too. Grab a few pints after your race at Ninkasi, Oakshire or Hop Valley.
2. A call-up is not required to compete for the podium, but the hole-shot will get you first dibs on the singletrack.
1. Because in Eugene, tall socks are not mandatory.

Come race hard. You’ll have fun.
