URGENT: OBRA CCX Championships Schedule Change

First off, Sal's put a lot of work into making the single track section
passable in almost in most places (cutting back the growth).

Second, I agree it's not idea, but we're working with some limitations that
made this a reasonable option. The Crusade schedule works fine for the
Portland area, but starting event before 9am isn't great when it's 2 hours
from Portland. Plus with early dusk and deep shadow in some areas of the
course, we'll be losing light pretty early.

Nothing is ideal, but I think the course will be challenging and fun. It
should be a good race.

Thanks
Seth

This doesn't seem very well thought out.

2 categories where the lead riders are relatively fast (Master B+ and
Clydesdales) are racing with the slowest (Beginners) on a course with long
sections of unpassable singletrack?

If we are being told that we need to use Cross Crusade numbers, why isn't
the schedule and category grouping that the Crusade (and nearly all other CX
races this season) being used? They appear to have the number logistics
already figured out.

Thanks for the feedback Mike.

This was a decision by the CJ, CR and the promoter given the
constraints of numbers, time and scheduling.

I was thinking the same thing. Master B's is a pretty fast group. Why would they be with the beginners. Very confusing.
