So the ‘11 Cyclocross Crusade is over....but we all know it is never really over....it just recovers for next season!

So for the remaining races.........

Kruger’s
I spent a few hours out there yesterday abusing my body in the rain “for the cause” and can give you all some info..........

There will be some mud........Kruger’s has some low spots right? But for this time of year, I was amazed how superficial the wetness was.......I mean not deep down wet. Most was in the top inch so there will be some slipping and sliding, but I think (unless we have some amazing dump of rain which is not in last forecast I heard) the course may be pretty fast compared to past chapters. The area to the right as you pull into the farm will have the course running through there and with team tents, bonfire, pumpkin field, start and finish in the area..........looks like a bike concert venue!

Blackberry Alley out North has been cleared and will be sweet to rip through and the nice railroad tie steps that Jake built last year have been refurbished and look ready to aid our ascent up over the hill out East. I did not go into the barn, but assume that will be the same as ever. The Kruger Market has lots of great looking fruit and veggies in the bins.........even though I pretty much zoned in on the pumpkins in the field.

So that is what one racer knows about this upcoming Sunday’s venue. I am sure Kris and Crew will be out there Saturday ironing out the details and getting lots of stuff done so we can have a fun time.

What a great weekend of racing for those who can make it out. Saturday Southern Oregon Outlaw Cross and Psycho Cross / OBRA and Jr. and HS Cross Final....and Sunday Kruger’s Cyclocross Classic.

We are just about down to the end of the local Cross season. After this weekend we are down to races on Nov. 26 and 27, Dec. 3 and 4, and finally Dec. 10 and 11 with USGP in Bend. Pick your place of “funpain”.
Have fun out there and remember anyone who gets out there and gives it a go is a winner. Support each other.

Oh yeah Kruger’s.... I plan on bringing a few pieces of firewood for the bonfire.....without any nails or screws in.......big fire might be pretty nice..........the course goes right by on both sides.
