This is a well-used steel frame with a whole lotta life left in it. Built for the '96 Olympic team, this is a '99 (the last year it was built). Dropout widths are modern (i.e. your wheels will work). It was my first "real" road bike. It rides like a dream, and while it kills me to sell it, I moved on to newer bikes.
Royal blue front triangle, yellow rear triangle, yellow fork. Still hot.
1" fork, red Chris King headset. I have a few different stems: you're welcome to them all.
The paint is in good, but not flawless condition, especially the top of the fork. I do have Serotta touch-up paint.
There is a small ding on the top tube from a crash a few years ago, but it's pretty minor.
If you have a buddy who wants to get into road riding, this is a helluva ride: great for racing, and super comfortable for long rides. Tell 'em to contact me: I'll throw in some entry-level Ritchey wheels I have.
C'mon OBRA, let's keep this one in the family. I don't want to sell it on CL or eBay.
