A little social commentary on group rides. Here in Bend there's a noon

ride M-F with the general understanding that Monday and Friday are easy,



T,W,Th will be hard. Yesterday was the second time this season I have

been "dropped" on a so-called easy day. I don't care that I was dropped,



but what does concern me is that we are alienating the slower riders in

town and in general creating a bad stigma for these group rides. Twenty

minutes in we had riders strung out all dowm the road! I'm assuming

everyone made it back okay, but my feeling is that on these "easy" days

it should be conversational pace with nobody coming off the back.
