ReGPMC Series Points Update after the OBRA Champs CX Race

Chris, I had been wondering the same thing and would be a liar if I said I hadn't checked for standings updates at least fifty times in the past week. Obsessive? You bet. That's how much fun this series stuff is and with a win bringing in 26 points you're almost never safe to think that you've got this one in the bag. Fact is, you've got to dump points from two races and the guy a few points behind you only has to dump points from one so actually it's much closer than you'd think even if and when the points updates hit the results. I'm in the same situation as you and I'll be bringing a pit bike for the very first time to reduce the chance of having a catastrophic failure. I'd have to say though that I'm so glad that it's coming down to head to head competition like this. I bought my bike two days before the start of this series. Before that I hadn't had a bike since the 80's. My season goals were fun, fitness, community, more fun, and lastly results. I'm psyched to say that
I achieved my season goals, even the results part has been very encouraging and I really want to take an opportunity to say thanks to all the race organizers for dishing all this up, and also to Brian Hart Jr., R. Dean Bailey, and Yutaka Yakote for being mentors and making my season so memorable. I'm coming for my trophy on Saturday, and next year you master C's gotta watch out 'cause I'm going to blow through you like a February storm.
