So you Portland metro area, Hood River dirt riders (that includes you brave cyclocross souls) this might be fun. Little old frail Ronnie is going to give night riding a try on a legal trail. I talked with Andy and he said the loop was about 2 miles long, has some pretty view (especially in the dark) and would be lots of fun (approx. 60’ elevation gain each lap). How about some of you folks doing the Wednesday night Forest Park ride? Not sure what I will be able to scope out in the dark, but I understand the area might be a good location for a cyclocross race and the Port of Cascade Locks and local are all for that type of activity. It would be great to see some familiar faces out riding around. Remember all you people below Pro Cat., riding should be for fun too! (although I can probably do more laps that anyone who shows in a 20 min. timed event)
Details below and on the NWTA website. I am going by what is listed here. If I can’t find it............I have issues.....but you all know that anyway.
Friday night ride then Winter Cross in Washougal on Sunday.............Remember to support that series. The Promoters have worked very hard to put on a great 9 race series for us and the courses have been as good as any others.
