Winter Cross – Dec 4th (Sunday)
- We are looking forward to closing out the Cyclocross season (locally) this Sunday at the Washougal MX Park. The weather, although not wet and nasty (as we had expected), looks to be sunny and cool. Come out and have some fun or keep your legs fresh for the USGP.
Notes:
• This will be a new course. We’ll use all of the service roads in and around the MX track, not the ‘Ninkrossi’ course.
• Wear your ugliest Holiday sweater to celebrate the season.
• Team tents: There will be a tent area after the start (see map). Please, follow parking instructions.
• Registration: Pre-reg is open until 5pm Saturday (12/3). Online link: (http://obra.org/events/19734/register) All racers that pre-register Online will receive an extra token for a Ninkasi or glühwein at the race.
• All race heats have been shortened by 5 minutes to allow for a full schedule within the short daylight available. Please check the schedule race day for all changes. The first race (Beginner Men) will be at 8:40am.
• You will need to sign a venue specific waiver at the main entry gate. No cars on the course!
• Numbers: We will be using OBRA Cross numbers. Left side.
• Parking fee: There is a $5 per vehicle fee, collected at the first gate.
• This will be the final race of the GPMC and the local CX season!

Food – Food will be provided for sale by a few vendors.
• Coffee will be generously provided free of charge by ‘Three Little Birds’.
• Savory stew and soup by "My Friends and I Catering, Inc.".
• Waffles by vendor “Three Little Birds”.
• Beer by Ninkasi Brewing. Pre-reg or Day of racers will receive one beverage token with their registration. Spectators and racers looking for an extra beer will be able to purchase a hand crafted brew for $3.
• Glühwein (hot spiced wine) will also be available.

Winter Cross is the last race in the GPMC. This is your last chance to gain point towards the series overall points. Reminder: only your top 7 results count and a minimum of 5 race results needed to have a series overall final ranking. There will be no BAR points for the series, only the individual races.
