As was made clear by the apologetic squawking I heard as I hit the ground,
I know you didn't intend to run straight into the riders in front of you as
we approached the first right turn. Instead, it seems like you didn't
take the time to preview the course before our race. Crashes happen
sometimes, and that's part of racing. However, crashes like today's are
totally avoidable with a little homework. In the future, respect your
commitment to racing and respect your competitors by having a look at the
course before you race it. See you out there next time.
