OBRA race members, A shout goes out to the S. Oregon CX scene for lighting up the Christmas and New Years time with CX opportunities (Love it)! Soon I/we will be able to race just as long as the Euro's into late February. I have to say S. OR has done an excellent job in presenting quality courses and great administration of CX races. I've been able to attend thier races in the past (from Florence) and have enjoyed every race attended. This is a plug for all of us to support all OBRA events, when possible and/or practical. So racers and families alike pack the car up with a few other race buddies or racing family & your bikes to support them in also building up strong interest, a cultish following within the southern regions of our beautiful and expansive state. Heck, you may even want to stay for the weekend and visit Crater Lake, Ashland, Oregon National Caves, Redwood Forest, Ski on Mt. Ashland, etc. You will be challenged physically on their courses and they'll show you some Southern hospitality (minus the fried foods)...so if you can support the broader Oregon cycling events please consider these ones.
