Hi Kenji and others, we just set the date today in fact for our Pay it
Forward Hammer velo X-mas ride this year for OHSU Doenbechers Childrens
Hospital....
My plan this year was to try and get more teams involved but just ran out of
time....But with that said if anyone other teams want to get involved in
this program please let me know....I have a great relationship with the
people at the hospital now and we can get you a family to sponsor if you
want I am sure, I don't think it's to late....Last year we raised about
600.00 for the family, made a ride out to the house with about 25 of the
team....It was alot of fun to see the kids faces.....backpacks full of
gifts....This year we are doing a night time ride with our bikes lit up like
X-mas trees....Should be fun....
So yes let me know if you want to get involved...thanks and everyone have a
great Christmas....

Last year Hammer Velo "adopted" a family with a child in Doernbecher
for the holidays. It would be great to see some teams help out the
local community.

If you do something, let me know as that will also qualify as helping
out the community in terms of getting a reduced team renewal rate for
