I'd like to support Shane's enthusiasm for Roger and crew's MTB races.
Capitol Forest 50/100 was a fantastic event and so well-organized! I hope
more people from Oregon head up to race this VERY cool course in 2012.

Have a wonderful holiday season everyone! See you on the trails.

Right on dudes. That is what makes people want to race! Keep it simple and fun. Let people find their commitment and go with it. If he/she ends up a pro that is great. If another ends up racing 10 weekends a year.......honestly....that is just as good. You have helped by giving them a reason to be off the sofa those times! Both of these results are good. Maybe even if you produce one pro and keep 10 off the sofa.....that is better for society right?

We received quite a few emails about the requirements for racing the NW Epic Series, sorry for not clarifying, NO USAC or any other membership required, insurance is included in registration.
Happy Holidays!

The Stottlemeyer in Port Gamble is a surprising gem with some seriously tough early season technical single track riding. The Capitol Forest trail system is exceptional, and the race course receives a lot of summer brush and trail maintenance in preparation for this race. Fun times! Go do them!

This year I hope to make the Echo Valley and the new White River race on their calendar.
