OBRA folks,

I'm badly in need of funding for a new MTB, so my good friend the
Steamroller needs to find a new home and I want to let my fellow OBRA
members know before I go to Craigslist. Please reply off-list.

This versatile bike makes a great winter trainer, velodrome racer, city
shredder or fat-tire smasher. I've run tires from 22c track tubs up 38c
Schwalbe fatties, the frame has clearance for fenders with 25-28c tires and
is drilled for front and rear brakes. Never crashed or abused, this bike
is in great shape. The dark brown paint has only a couple of minor nicks
and all the decals are removed. She rolls on Miche hi-flange track hubs
laced to bright silver Deep-Vs, expertly hand-built with DT Competition
spokes. Great wheels for long winter rides or charging around the city.
They've seen some miles but are free of dents, bends or major scratches and
have needed nearly no truing over 2 years of riding. The front hub has an
extra-long axle installed for easy rack or basket mounting. Simple,
functional silver parts fill out the build and give the bike a clean,
classy look. Just the frame, fork and wheelset would set you back nearly
$1000 new if purchased from your LBS. The complete setup can be yours for
$800. Photos available by request.
