Hello

Mountain biking looks great this year with XC, Duper D and Short track all
taking you to new places and fun around our great State.

Looking forward to a great year
Brief Pre-view of my events www.mudslingerevents.com

24th Mudslinger 4/1
Race # 2 in the Series and with the first 2 races spaced a month apart will
allow you to test the waters on your fitness.
The Blodgett Gym has new floors and ceilings for the after awards if its
Wet (last 2 years this race has been the warmest and the trails have been
dry, can that happen 3 years in a row)
5.00 discount to all who have *never* raced the Mudslinger

Test of Endurance 50/100 6/16
Starting from Corvallis this year on a Saturday, 6400 ft of climbing so
within your reach and 14000 for the 100 (now that may hurt a bit more)
registration is going well for both the 50 and 100
25.00 Discount on the TOE 100 to all who race the High Cascades 100

High Cascades 100 7/21
So far close to 100 riders have signed up and 90% are out of State and
while this is excellent for Bend and Tourism and the state in general, I
would not want someone locally to miss out on 1 loop and 75-80 mile of
singletrack
This event provides an opportunity for racers and families to race and take
a vacation at the same time. This year we are starting and finishing at the
Athletic Club of Bend. Goal is to raise 5-7 grand for COTA which would
bring the 4 year total to close to 20,000

USAC Qualifier (Bend)
Last time Bill Walburton and I talked we were doing this again to get
Oregon and other racers to Nationals and if my brain serves me its the day
before Picketts charge (TBA)

Alsea Falls 6 hr
10 mile loop, teams of 1 or 2, 1 hr to 1:30 lap times

High Cascades 24 9/8 &9
150 Spots available and if you are thinking ya, I may put together a team I
have a special Deposit only Manually on the reg form where you can hold a
spot without committing the whole amount.

Oregon XC Series presented by Rivercity Bicycles and WSC

2 months until Echo Red to Red, Shane and his crew will have registration
open soon for this best 6 of 9 series with Custom Jerseys for all Champions
by Primal Wear for the Overall winners.
So much to announce on this Series in January/February.

The comeback in recent year of Mountain biking is in great part a result of
your efforts and either exploring new areas or re kindling the fun in the
Hills and mountains in your area.
Go out and get some winter gear, work on trails in your area with a local
IMBA group ride be happy and no excuses in 2012 to have some fun, bring a
friend along to race/ride and support OBRA along the way in my events or
the many other Dirt related activities this Season in Oregon.
