Indeed it does. I think I had the ride of my life, but I'm not really sure.

It's hard to tell how good your going when you start in the last row, and

aren't really racing for the win. But I did 53 minutes over threshold (181)

which is absolutely unprecedented for me. I accellerated out of every turn, up

every hill, and after every dismount. I even ran well. So, yeah, I actually

did

it; I finished on the lead lap. I got prize money, and UCI points! Maybe I'll

get to take Timmy's spot at World's, who knows.

Anne was awesome today, but she said she didn't realize the two Dutch women

she

was with were working together, and got a bit worked over in the sprint. Katie

rode well, as did Jenn, but Jenn crashed in a turn at the bottom of a long

downhill on the pavement on the first lap. But, since theymade such a big

impression, they got asked to come race in the women's race at the German

Championships (which isn't really a championship for women). They actually

came

up with some start money for them and hotel rooms. So, they#ll get to race

with

Hanka Kupfernagel, who's won everything up to this point so far. It's funny,

but the American women are way better than the American men, and are a much

bigger attraction over here right now. It's all everyone talks about. It's

beautiful!

lobbying Jiri Mainus on my behalf for worlds, feel free...
