Dirt lovers,

Below is info (from Andy of NWTA) on the next night ride at “easy CLIMB” trail system in Cascade Locks....this Friday Jan 6. If interested continue reading or check out the NWTA website and click on the this ride in the event section. This is a fun loop to ride....and very pretty next to river if you get there before dark! No climbing to speak of....some short punchy stuff. Once you know the loop, you can abuse it and yourself at will. As it gets built more....it will be a blast. ron s.

Happy New Year!

I hope everyone had a great holiday and ready for some more night riding to burn off the holiday calories. The weather is looking decent for this Friday night to have another Friday night ride at the easyCLIMB trail in Cascade Locks. If you attended any of the night rides in December, we had a big showing and everyone had a blast. Since then, the trail Gnomes have added some gravel to some of the muddy sections of the trail, but more is needed. A couple of small bridges have been installed to cross a small creek. We plan to have more gravel brought in for a night trail maintenance session in a couple of weeks.

Facebook:
In the mean time, we started a Facebook page for this ride called "Dimwits Withbritelights", so Friend us and you'll get up to date information. The purpose of this page was to have a place where we can list future rides and people can upload pictures and share stories. The profile picture on the Facebook page has a series of colored light bulbs. When it is Red - there is no ride planned. When it is Yellow (as it is today), we have a ride planned but waiting on the weather to confirm. When it is Green - the ride is on.
