Alpenrose velodrome is already getting ready for the upcoming season.
Last year I volunteered running a few work crews to help out Mike. I did some pressure washing and some concrete patching.
This year Alpenrose has hired me (Bridge City Pressure Washing) to do a huge pressure washing out at the track at a incredibly low price. So if anyone stops by the track they will notice that it looks like a hurricane had come through. This is a huge project that will take me a couple of weeks to finish as I am working with other projects too.
I will keep y’all updated as to when I’ll be finished. Even once I’m finished the track won’t be completely safe until the concrete patching is done. I will spray paint where the patching needs to be done with white paint. So if you want to ride at your own risk and work on your bike handling skills by dodging small tire pinching holes…have fun.
If anyone is curious as to really what a pressure washing company can do…stop by and say hi.
Maybe this year I’ll actually put down my TT bike, rent a track bike and get my but out on the track for my first time.
Thanks,
Stewart Campbell
