Augusto Carneiro
Hello OBRA friends,
I am leading at trip to my family's coffee farm and surrounding region in
Brazil May 4-14th. Aside from airfare, the trip is all inclusive. You'll
fly into Sao Paulo and I'll be there to pick you up and take you to the farm
(about 3hrs north in the highlands of Brazil). We stay at a beautiful
farmhouse, It's a colonial style house, built in the 30's, most of the rooms
still having the original hardwood furniture built in the era and area. The
house has a beautiful patio and varanda that overlooks the coffee drying
patio and coffee valley.
Typically we start the days activities after 10am, giving everyone time to
wake up, have a leisurely breakfast of fresh fruit, baked goods and
delicious coffee while soaking in the sun in the varanda. We'll have
optional mt.biking for early risers, or to different destinations, and in
the afternoons as well. Here's a link to our itinerary to give you an idea
of the things we do. http://www.familyroast.com/brazil/itinerary.html
It's a very unique trip, we eat really well, meet lots of great people, see
beautiful sights, and besides the farm we go out to a couple restaurants in
the town and usually get to see some live music as well.
If you have any interest in the trip and have any questions feel free to
call me!
