I've made a homemade box, but it is unwieldy and attracts extra TSA inspections everywhere. (At least I've not yet unpacked a note reading "get your Lance on.")

I love mine. I would like more resistance for daily garage use, but it mostly gets the job done. It's perfect for taking to races for warming up. Pretty sure it would fit in a carry on.

The 1up trainer folds down to just 6in wide. It also is easily taken apart to fit in smaller spaces with a minimum of tools. It also doesn't need a front wheel block due to the adjustable legs.

I am selling one if anyone is interested.

Brady,

I've never used this one - but I have their bike rack (10 years using their
bike racks), and they make super quality stuff in general. Their trainer
is designed to fold up and be as portable as possible:

Worth checking out. Not sure if anyone on the OBRA list has used one of
these and can provide feedback on it?

Hey OBRA,

I am looking for a trainer that I can travel (fly) with easily. I have a Fluid2, but folded it needs a box with interior dimensions at least 20x20x13. No standard luggage I've found works. I've made a homemade box, but it is unwieldy and attracts extra TSA inspections everywhere. (At least I've not yet unpacked a note reading "get your Lance on.")

Does anyone know of a decent trainer that folds up smaller than this? I'd love to find one that fits in some standard piece of luggage with EXterior dimensions such that L+W+H <= 62 inches (the limit for 'standard' size, per most airlines), since custom luggage is expensive.

I know that cyclops has a bag for the Fluid2, but it is soft-sided
