I know most of us have cycling friends in the Bay Area... so I figured

I'd give this a shot. A friend who works at a shop down there recently

had two guys walk into his shop and ask a question about a bike that

they received as a 'present' and wanted to know how much it was worth.

He asked them the make of the bike and they said it was a Cameleaon. Of

course my friend said he had never heard of it before and would need to

see it to really give them an estimate. Though he knew already that

whatever they had... was stolen. The bike was in the back of their

pick-up so my friend went for a look. Wrapped under a blaket was a

purple/ blue Calfee... carbon frame with TI lugs, Mavic Ksyrium wheels,

full Dura-Ace, time trial bars and much more. So my friend downplayed

the price and was able to buy this 'present' for $300 of these guys. Now

he's diligently looking for it's owner. He's posted a flyer at work and

has been asking around town. I figured if any of you had a friend in the

bay who recently had a Calfee bike stolen from them...
