think it's pretty important. I work for a small legal nonprofit, the
Northwest Workers' Justice Project, and we recently settled a class action
arbitration against the Oregon temporary agency, Labor Ready Northwest, on
behalf of a class of more than 43,000 temporary workers. Labor Ready has
agreed to pay up to $750,000 to workers who we believe did not get paid for
all their time on the job, but you must opt-in in order to get payment, so
we've been tasked with trying to hunt down 43,000 people.
