I am sure Sara will not let your Vampires get lost out there.........just look for the Bonfire if all alone!
Went out a few weeks ago and rode laps and this will be a real hoot at speed. Next us is getting some of the double track figured out to allow interspersed passing areas for ST and Cross. I may be out there again Sunday morning riding and scoping.

The weather is looking good for another Friday night ride. Sara Wright (sarawrig@gmail.com) is going to host this week's Dimwits Ride.

On another note our trail is getting some good recognition. Portland Monthly magazine (February issue) is highlighting the Cascade Locks easyCLIMB trail in their monthly trail of the month. Here's the article:

RIDE DETAILS:

Where: EasyCLIMB trail Cascade Locks - check the NWTA trail information at CLIMB

Directions From Portland:
I-84 East, take Cascade Locks Exit 44
Go through town (~.5 miles), left on NW Forest Lane (~1.5-2 miles)
Turn Left on Cramblett Way (next to Bear Mountain Wood Pellets plant)
Follow paved road and continue straight on gravel road to the end…hopefully you'll see the bonfire.

When: 6:30- until you get tired.
Plan: Ride the trails for an hour or two, then hang by the fire to socialize.
What to Bring: Good riding lights and chair to relax by the fire.
Fire: There will be a bonfire to warm up and dry off
Food: Bring something to cook over the fire and a beverage.
Dogs: Yes great place for dogs.
Kids: Yes kid friendly, but better come out first to decide for yourself if you feel it safe enough for them.
Cancellation Policy: Only if I-84 is closed, or more than .5 inches of rain is predicted.
RSVP: Not required, but appreciated.
