Where was it anyway?

car and on my bicycle, and it's often downright scary to see how badly some
people ride.

just 8 or 9 riders.

Today while out and about I came upon a group ride while driving in my car.
Riders were 3 and 4 wide in the road that had a posted speed limit of
40MPH. It took me a long time to pass this group safely. I gave them plenty
of room, made sure to pass on a straight stretch, but one rider decided to
yell at me and I'm not sure why. You were clogging up the whole road with
just 8 or 9 riders.

Then I see a couple of other teams posting ride pictures on Facebook with
the same issue, taking up the whole road while on a team ride.

Just a friendly reminder that riding in large groups is great thing, my
team (Portland Velo) does it every weekend with large amounts of riders,
but blocking the road does no good for our community and can cause issues
with other road users that are not cyclists and could give a rats arse
about our safety and well being.

Please be safe out there and respect all users of the road.
