I did not really complain much. I had run three stop signs before I got
poped at this one. I took it as fate telling me to stop being irresponcible.

FWIW - I have talked to a traffic court judge who said he would allow that someone in a track stand has ceased forward motion under Oregon statutes. However, he knew other Multtnomah County traffic court judges that did not allow for this as a full stop. I still track stand, but there is a chance I will not just get a ticket, but also be found guilty of a violation.

Actually in Oregon the law requires coming to a complete stop, nothing

in it about feet on the ground.

Personally I enjoy the challenge of track standing through an entire

cycle of a traffic light. Compared to that stop signs are a breeze.
