Course Observer Program 2012

Mike Ripley

2012-02-20

The 2012 Course Observer Program is now open for all experienced folks (2
or more years racing) to race for free at a selected OBRA event and fill
out a form for OBRA and the Race director to evaluate the race from a
riders point of view.

The success of mountain bike racing relies on quality from Cat 3 (Beginner)
to Cat 2, Cat 1 or Pro. In some cases each ability level will have a
different course, various start times or distances and taking care of the
quality and safety at each event is paramount to the continued growth of
the sport.

>From finding the way to the middle of nowhere to packet pick up and day of
registration, safety and medical support, course, and timing all of these
things and more make a race a success.
