All,

For those of you looking for an exceptionally efficient and versatile cross
country race machine - this is your baby. With "The Brain" technology in
both the rear shock and front fork (Fox F100X Terralogic), you will be on a
machine that is still far more efficient than anything available on the
market today - and it works with out any goofy manual lock-outs to forget
about when you hit that bumpy downhill section! Frame size is XL, color is
silver anodized, with red bling bling (mostly Chris King).

frame set. Today's production model/version of this bike costs $9900
(granted, in the carbon fiber frame).

This bike clearly has been ridden a lot, has 2 dings in the aluminum frame,
a few scratches and lots of rub marks. But it has always been
exceptionally well maintained, constantly upgraded, and continually babied.
I still get people asking me if this is my new bike ...

*I'm asking $1,100.* The Chris King parts on this bike alone retail for
well over $800.

I'm located in Portland. If you are seriously interested in this bike - we
can arrange for a real world test ride. Lets go to Brown's Camp, Sandy
Ridge, or any local trail you favor - and you can ride it for a few hours.

All,

It is with a hesitant heart that I offer my beloved 2004 Specialized
S-Works Epic mountain bike for sale. Alas, I have finally decided to move
on with a new 29er full suspension to replace this bike.

For those of you looking for an exceptionally efficient and versatile cross
