I very much appreciate Jeff offering 60+ their own field, I believe that
this group will see the largest growth of any other age cat. in the next
several years. All those 50+ will soon see 60. I will be there to help fill
out the field and help our group. As for preference, I think 33 miles is
plenty for our age group, Except for several of the 60+,a number of us are
going to struggle. I am just easing back into racing as I had to back off
from hard training and riding last year due to leg issues. I will do my best
and hang in as long as I can. See everyone Sunday, rain or shine!

My reccomendation would be just declare a distance....soon. I would
suggest the 44 miles and if that proves problematic and it needs to be shortened
then go to the 33 miles for the rest of the series.....you guys are bike
racers 33 mile road race is short, I know you can do it...most of you faster
then me! The issue at hand is getting enough of our most seasoned racers
out there.....go 60+ racers. And if Scarich is throwing down and going to
drive all the way over from Bend you all better bring ur A game....look at
his mind games already, only "100 miles a week" HaHa...sorry Steve :)

I have considered driving the four hours from Bend to Banana Belt to be pack filler (I only ride 100 miles a week), but will not drive over not knowing what distance I am riding. I don't mind racing with younger guys, but I want to get my money's worth (:
