Looking to buy an entry level cx bike, size 48-50 (I'm 5'5", my road bike is a 52). Hoping to spend about $500.

Posting for a friend who is a recent Oregon transplant and is looking
for a 'cross bike suitable for commuting/touring etc. He'd like to
keep it under $600. He's around 5'11, so something in the 55-57cm
range seems about right. Brand doesn't matter, etc etc. Please reply
