USA cycling survey

Nah. As usual, I paid almost $70 to race one or two races in Washington and
nationals. Totally worth it. Yep.

I got one and filled it out. I was expecting a comments section at the very
end but didn't get one. Instead, I hit the "Prev" button and made my
comments in one of the two comments boxes on the second to last page. I was
rather perturbed when forced to rank order a list of things. What I wanted
to do was order one "important" and the rest "unimportant."

I received the same survey. I suggest filling it out honestly and constructively. No matter how we in OBRA like to rase our noses, the survival of competitve cycling as an organized American Sport is, primarily, USAC's resposibility. It is good to see that someone is at least starting to ask why members are dropping out, whatever the answers may be.

Got this survey from USA Cycling. Has anybody else gotten this???

Dear Former USA Cycling Member,

We've noticed that you did not renew your active membership (2010 or before)
with USA Cycling for 2011 or 2012.

Please note that this is NOT a pitch to get you to renew (although we would
surely welcome you back!). On the contrary, in order to best serve ALL
people with any interest in competitive cycling in the USA, we humbly ask
for your feedback about your USA Cycling membership experience (even if you
don't plan to renew). This short questionnaire should take less that 5
minutes to complete.

All responses are anonymous and your information will be kept confidential
but your feedback can help us provide the service and benefits that new
and/or veteran cyclists value most.

Thank you again and remember your input can make a difference!

Gordon Weldon
USA Cycling Managing Director of Membership Services
