CC me on this! I appreciate the input as well! I was running 36x16 on my
650b at echo and smashed it pretty well, but the coast range is more my
stomping grounds and I know it can get steep. Never ridden SS out here
though.

Yeah I will probably ask this for all of the races this year but.......what gear ration were people running for the Mudslinger? I had on 32x17 (on a 29er) for echo which turned out great cuz the race was like an hour longer than I guessed due to the wind.

So what are you going to push?

I am tending toward putting on a 18t, are the climbs steeper? Not much elevation difference though.
