At my request, Mike Ripley added a women's singlespeed category at Mudslinger coming up on Sunday. It will be run on the Cat 3 course, 12 miles and 1500 ft of climbing. No 20+% stairstep climb, no wear-n-tear on your "good" bike, just a great challenge on what promises to be an epically wet course on a lovely Oregon Spring day. It's not be a category for the series, but if we get at least five riders, it will be a legit category and I am bringing Sturdy Bitch swag for top three! So if you've ever considered racing your SS,
