Selling my Brand New Pinarello FP7 to fund the finishing of our kitchen project. I really hate to sell this (my dream bike) but project needs completion and spouse has promised a new bike in summer once project is completely done!
THIS IS A RARE opportunity to own this amazing Frame Set. This is the 2010 (the last year they made this) frame and was brand new, unridden when I got the chance to purchase it (this bike was 3rd in line in the Pinarello Professional Bike line for 2010 and could ONLY be purchased as a complete bike (they didn't sell the frame set alone; I was lucky to get a chance to buy this frame/fork set! ) The CHEAPEST version of this you could buy started at over $7,000!
I purchased a BRAND NEW Shimano Ultegra groupo for this and had it professionally built at Veloce' Bikes.
The bike was purchased and built up at the end of this last summer; I got a few sunny day rides in and then promptly put it away for winter (started riding / training on Cross bike for Fall/Winter racing). I have a separate bike for road training/racing so this has had almost NO miles put on it (maybe 200-300 miles total)!
The geometry on these italian bikes are a little different (I normally ride a 56cm frame ; I am 5'10" tall with a 31" inseam) This bike fits PERFECT and is remarkably comfortable to ride, but is SUPER STIFF when you climb or jump out of the saddle to sprint due to the assymetrical carbon lay up on the frame. This Bike is far stiffer than the new, bargain price FP2's that Pinarello is marketing this last year (the FP7 was just under the Dogma and Prince in 2010 and is the basic equivalent to the PARIS).
