The COTA event is not an OBRA event.

Isn't part of Kenji's job ensuring that no two events have the same name?

The Coast Hills Classic is on May 6th and is going to be pretty sweet. It the first time the race has been held in 10 years and likewise some of the course has changed. The course map hasn't been posted due to agreements with some of the private land owners who have generously allowed us on their land. I will say that it's about a 12 mile course (2 laps for the Pro/1 categories I think) and is somewhere around 1600+ feet of total elevation gain per lap. The course has a little of everything from forested single-track, some extended climbs, a sloppy descent or two and even crosses some oak savannah. Ocean view.
See you then!

I think that's a different Spring Fling, that's the big spring work party/festival in Bend that's in June... This spring fling used to be the first DH race of the season on Dog River or the Govy to Rhode trail (whatever it's called, pioneer bridal trail maybe...) put on by FTF or Shiloh I think...

What I could find on Spring Fling is that it is in June, not May, per the COTA calendar.

I think that's a different Spring Fling, that's the big spring work
party/festival in Bend that's in June... This spring fling used to be the
first DH race of the season on Dog River or the Govy to Rhode trail
(whatever it's called, pioneer bridal trail maybe...) put on by FTF or
Shiloh I think...

This means the flyers have not been received or approved.

Bear Springs is aware and met their web person on Friday.

Coast Hills Classic has already been notified.

Until there is any change the OBRA calendar is to be considered
correct. Spring Fling on Dog River is still set for May 5, 6.

Mike Ripley has already been in touch with Petr about snow conditions
and we are awaiting an answer.

There is a vaguely detailed page for Coast Hills (no course map)
http://www.coasthillsclassic. Thanks for mentioning it. I had not noticed
it.

What I could find on Spring Fling is that it is in June, not May, per the
COTA calendar.
