Once again River City Bicycles and Team Rose City are proud to be hosting
the 7th annual Eric Kautzky Memorial Track Race on May 5, 2012.

Eric was a Team Rose City team mate that lost his life tragically on
Saturday, June 18, 2005, while out on an early morning training ride on
Tualatin-Sherwood Road. Team Rose City will honor Eric at the May 5th track
race by giving our net proceeds to the Eric Kautzky Memorial Scholarship
Fund at Tigard High School. Eric was a science teacher and a well-known
athletic trainer at Tigard High School for 24 years.

Thanks to our community of track racers, approximately $10,280 has been
donated to Eric's scholarship fund over the past 6 years. To date the fund
has issued scholarships to 12 deserving high school seniors who are
planning careers in exercise science or physical education.

Once again the highly coveted Eric Kautzky Memorial Track Race Omnium
Champion jersey will be up for grabs in 11 categories. Just four more weeks
until we see who will be wearing them.
