The latest edition of the Nearly World Famous Kings Valley Road Race has come and gone and Cameron and I would like to thank everyone who helped us put the race on, all the racers who came out in great numbers and made a really terrific event, and finally the weather gods for gracing us (as usual) with excellent racing weather on the Second Saturday in April.

Venues to hold races are always precious commodities and I want to point out something that I think is really great about the racers that come to our event.  Each year, after the parking lot has emptied, we do a walkabout and grab up any trash that has been left behind.  This year,  we picked up a grand total of 2 empty Gu packs.  From the whole teeming throng of bike racers, support and adoring fans, that was it.  Thanks for your efforts in this regard.

Special thanks to the West Coast Women's Cycling Team presented by Ninkasi for their invaluable assistance with support drivers for Kings Valley.

We have the following placings that did not claim their prize money:

Masters 50+. 4th place
Men's Cat IV 5th place and 7th place
Women's Cat IV 4th place.
