Hello all,
I also want to thank David and Rolf for making it possible to have a
women's field for this race. It is taking a lot of work and time to add a
field. I'd like to echo Brooke by saying that in the past this race has
been pretty well attended in the women's fields, and I hope that we can get
a lot of ladies down to race this year as well. It seems like more and
more it is difficult to race in Oregon because promotors are
cutting/combining womens fields - so lets take this opportunity to show
that we can get a good sized womens field out there and that we want to
race.
This course is awesome and suits all sorts of strengths! And Eugene is a
great place to race as well! It seems like more and more we don't see us
Portland peeps getting out to support the races on the outskirts - so I
would encourage everyone to make the short drive to Eugene to do this fun
race!
Go get 'em ladies!
