I'm looking for a route between Camp Sherman and Smith Rock. Any recommendations?

Anyone know if Indian Ford Rd between Black Butte and Sisters is rideable?

Anyone know what the Sisters to Smith Rock biketrail is like? Can you keep a decent pace on it? Is it a bikepath, or a selection of bike-friendly roads?
