If you didn't go to the Coast Hills Classic race over in Newport, you should have. It was a great course combining the best characteristics of Mudslinger and Bear Springs with some of it's own gnarly twisty singletrack with lots of close-in vegetation (felt like I was in a tunnel at times!). Seriously a really good race. The promoters and organizers did a fantastic job (Bike Newport) and the volunteers were awesome and friendly.

I've already marked my calendar for next year!
