Cascade Chainbreaker Online registration is open today until 3PM, so don't
forget. OBRA.org

I went out last night with Marcel to check any revisions on the course.
Course is already starting to get a bit dusty, but it is riding fast. We
shortened the big lap just a hair. The start loop (which every category
does at the very beginning) is approx 3.5mi, then everyone goes off and
does the full loop of approx 11mi. So people racing "1 lap" will do 3.5+11=
14.5mi. "2 Lap" categories will be racing 3.5+11+11= 25.5mi. "3 Lap"
categories (Pro Men and Cat 1 Men 19-34 and Cat 1 Men 35-44) will be racing
3.5+11+11+11=36.5miles.

The course starts with .9miles on a dirt road incline, then turns onto
double track for another .5 miles or so, giving you about 4-6 minutes to
get in position for the first bit of singletrack. Then, there is double
track and a few dirt roads scattered throughout the course, so plenty of
places to pass people.

Packet Pick up is Saturday 12-4PM at the shop, registration at the race
opens at 8:30. Race starts at 10, (different waves will be starting a few
minutes apart, but the first wave leaves at 10AM and the last wave about 8
minutes later.

We do have a medic tent in the finish area (white pop-up tent with the big
red cross sign). If you have any injuries or problems, please come to the
medic tent.
Free Hotdogs & Chips & Coke, & Deschutes Chainbreaker White IPA after the
race.

Kids race will start as soon as the course is cleared (1:30-2PM).
Awards to follow the kids race.

Weather should be AWESOME! NOAA says 82 and sunny. Bring sun screen.
