115 Cherry pies will be baked in the very early morning of February 16 so

that the prizes will be as fresh as possible. These pies are gourmet pies

made by a special bakery in Eugene. Wild Plum pies are also available in the

Eugene area. Split the pies with your team mates who helped you earn the

prize. Give it to your family who supported your winter training.



The 1,2,3 field has pies 12 deep rather than 6 deep for the other fields.



The deadline for sending your $15.00 entry if mailed by February 8th. $18.00

after.

Honor Past Presidents by starting off the season with the first OBRA race for

2002.



Has all those workouts paid off, or a few extra couch potato days really hurt

your fitness? This is the time for the honesty test. Course is



Course: 21 miles long, mostly flat with a bit of big rollers half mile in

length…hills to some…rolling to others.



Directions: I-5 to exit 209 by Harrisburg just west of I-5. Park in Sherman

Brothers Parking Lot. Not in café area. Overnight parking at RV lot 100

meters from start



Categories: This is an OBRA BAR race, and start of the Ironman competition!

Placing 15 deep each field



Juniors age-graded 10 to 14 and 15 to 18 Start together scored separately

Cat 1,2,3 and Cat 3,4,5

Women (Cat 1,2,3 scored separately from Women Cat 4)

Masters men 35+ and 45+ any category



Start Times: Race registration Closes 10 minutes before start time

Juniors 10:00 am , 1 lap (21 miles)

Cat 1,2,3 11:00 am 3 laps (62 miles)

Masters 35+ all categories 11:10 am 2 laps (42 miles)

Cat 3, 4, 5 11:20 am 2 laps (42 miles)

Masters 45+ all categories 11:30 2 laps (42 miles)

Women category 1,2,3 11:40 Master women 35 + start together scored separately
