Some updates on the TOE in just under a month

Limit 300 riders
Race # 8 of the Oregon XC Series (TOE 50)

No pre-riding unless you have a permit (Free from Starker Forest, Tum Tum
unit) anytime except the race weekend or Friday evening prior to and please
watch out for logging activity

8500 or 17000 ft of climbing, 2 laps or 4

- Finisher Pint Glass for all 50 milers and a Custom Shot Glass for all
100 mile finishers (how many my best guess is 50%)
- Participant photos from Oregon Velo
- Complete Specialized Bike Raffle (1 chance for 50 mile participants
and 2 for 100 mile participants)
- Sweet Set of Ralos 9 wheels for one lucky winner and many more prizes
- Hammer Nutrition support and great food

We are raising 2000 overall for the local Summit Grange and the Pastega
House with your support as this event continues to grow/Thanks

*A few new twists*

Cat 3 riders can do only 1 lap (I do have some feelings) and be placed
behind all that do the whole 50. This is only for the cat 3 class only

Team Comp is now any 4 riders regardless of your team affiliation and you
must e-mail me with your conglomerate 4 person team or Coed Couple team at
least 72 hrs prior to the race or 10am Wednesday June 13th to be in this
side comp for free entry to next years event and free entry into the High
Cascades 24 in Bend September 8th and 9th for your 4 person team or Coed
Couple.

Aid drop for the 50 will be at aid #1 at 25 miles and for the 100 you can
drop at aid # 2 to pass by 4 times.

I do need volunteers and if anyone wants to sweep ride or help a free entry
is given for 1 volunteer for the 50 and 2 for the 100. The best volunteer
spot is sweep riding the course and please e-mail off list for those
opportunities
