I am looking for one non-racing volunteer to manage the PIR track crossing during the upcoming Portland Short Track Series (every Monday night from June 2 through July 28, except for June 30).

Volunteer will have to be present from 5:30pm on until the PIR road races on the track have wrapped up (typically around 8pm).

Volunteer duties:
1) set up gated crossing at the beginning of the night (all required equipment will be provided)
2) police crossing (i.e. keep crossing short track racers from interfering with ongoing road races on the race track).
3) tear down crossing gate at the end of the night

Pay: $30 per night

Our preference goes to a volunteer who can commit to all 8 race nights. Responsible and qualified minors age 14 and over are encouraged to apply. Just send me an email at kris@portlandracing.com.
