Hey folks,

A quick last-minute update here from PIR, where we're setting up the course
for Portland Short Track #1...
For those who are still on the fence, come out tonight to race and have
fun! The motocross course is in great shape, no real mud to speak of,
smooth, tacky lines, and - surprise! - no dust. No concrete-like bumps, so
very forgiving for novice racers.

And the weather is actually not bad at all: no rain since this morning,
light cloud clover with some sun breaking through, a slight breeze, and
temps in the low 60s.

We have more than 275 racers preregistered up for tonight's race, so come
early to avoid having to stand in line 15' before your start and to get a
chance to pre-ride and get back in short track groove (the motocross track
will be closed to pre-riding from 5:40pm on).

Anyway, hope to see you tonight at PIR for our first night of short track
fun!
