Hey Guys

Coming up in 11 days is the 7th TOE 50 and new to this year is the 100. Now
most of you, ok 98% of you will not be taking on the 100 but I hope to
entertain you with over 100 hrs of trail work and 3 re worked sections to
make the time fly by on 10+ Descents per lap. I would like to say that
their is 8500 ft of descending to lessen the burden on you and if the
trails are anywhere like last year times will be fast. Next weeks weather
is looking up and the price will stay the same until Saturday at Packet
Pick up 2-4pm Friday at Peak Sports and or in the am 5am until 9am.

Details

Raffle, lets get to the good stuff
If you enter the 100 you get 2 chances to win the Specialzied Stumpjumper
size large complete bike valued at 2200.00 and many other Specialized
Tires/and S-works Helmets forthe 50 1 chance and yes you need to be present
to win for the bike, except if you are still doing the 100 where we will
have your new bike

The Course

BIG, lots of climbing, lots of room to pass, fun trails, re-worked sections
to provide even more flow.
Team Dirt is moving to Chapter Status this fall, so we hope you like the
effort we put in minus any wet areas, but at this moment the course is in
great shape

Categories

All riders do the 50 except Cat 3's can do 1 lap and be scored behind all
others that do the full 50. Now only 50 mile finishers will get the
finisher pint glass. 100 milers will get both, 1 for doing the 50 and when
they are done with the 100 and finsh will get a Custom Shot Glass

Fundraising/conduct

This race and others over the years has contributed close to 10,000 to the
Summit Grange and when you are in the area please be aware of people
driving to there house and smile and be friendly. I did get a few
complaints about riders not caring that they were in the way and being
unfriendly. I know the parking can be stretched out and if you are riding
please move out of the way and wave ect. Parking will be on one side of Old
Blodgett HWY and up Tum Tum rd past Harris so make time to arrive and
pre-register.

The Start

>From the school
Mass Start
8 miles until the first singletrack so no stacking up or getting crazy on
me, you will have plenty of room.
Word of advice is when by the river stay on the left as the right has more
pot holes and water

Garmin Speed Trap
Still planing on this that all 50 mile riders will be checked for speed
coming up to the school for a fastest man and women in the last bit of
racing for a new Garmin 200. If you are under 6 hrs we will check you speed
and while I can't guarantee perfection will do out best to record your
speed with a radar gun.

Lets see, thats about it and have a great weekend if you are at Washougal
or in California for the Humbug Hurry up and be safe and see you at the TOE
on Saturday 6/16

Team Dirt is only 40 points behind S & M and we have our sites set on
taking over the series Lead.......Tonkin, are you listning? All in good fun

Mike
