Hey All,
I'm thinking it's time for a change in saddles. I've been on a WTB Devo for a few years, but now I'm looking for something with a flatter front to back transition, and possibly a groove or cutout, though that's not a dealbreaker if it's comfortable. I know everyone is different, and my current saddle isn't terrible, but it's not great after an hour or so.
I'm thinking of going the Specialized toupe/romin/henge/phenom route (too many models, so I'm not sure where to start), and wanted to hear about any subjective comfort and durability issues. I'm also investigating Selle Italia sl/c2/slr's, as the profile looks pretty flat there too.
I don't have any shops in my area that carry demos in either of these. If you've tried one and you didn't like it, why? If it's still in your parts bin and you'd like to get rid of it (or better yet, if you'd be willing to loan it out for a week or so as a tester) let me know. Thanks!
