OBRA Land,

Hoping you can help out a friend who is coming to Portland from June 28th through July 30th on a med student rotation at OHSU and needs a room to rent for a month. She is a active, outdoorsy female from the Boston area looking for a furnished room within ~15 minutes by bike or public transit from OHSU (preferably close-in SE or SW, or NW).

She is looking for something in the $500 +/- range for the month and will be working some long (and at times strange) hours. Her exact start/end dates of being here are a little flexible, in case someone has something that works 90% of the way.

A last (and potentially separate) request, she might be looking to borrow a bike if anyone has a spare commuter to lend, so she doesn't have to fly with her bike. She is 5'4" and I think anything that would take her up the hill would be useful. I'll gladly lend wheels, but my frames would not fit her. Thanks in advance for the help.
