Hello
7/21 Bend Oregon
100 miles and 350 riders on one loop and I need some support if available
to repair/lube and keep people moving. I do have some local shops helping
but for the most part the town is slammed with the Cascade Cycling Classic
and so many other recreational riders
If you are a Mechanic and want to get someone into the event for no charge
let me know, or want to help that would be great/contact off list
I still have a few spots for aid station volunteers and or sweeps and
course positions as well for free entry.
Event is 25 people away from Selling out and we have people from all over
the nation coming to digest some amazing terrain including Oregon Local
Barry Wicks (i predict he will win, no pressure Barry), National Champion
Christain Tanguy, 3 time HC 100 champion (Carry Smith) Josh Tosdado, Evan
Plews and also Womens National Champion (Amanda Cary) will be on the start
line as well to duke it out. For the SS crew Gerry Pflug is undefeated and
will anyone challenge him?
The event is much more than fast people as 20-30 do go sub 10 hrs and the
rest just want to finish and get the coveted Growler with the Sasquatch on
it.
This year the event will be donating over 5000 to COTA (Could not do this
event without there help and great work on the trails) and has the Central
Oregon Boys and Girls club on board as well to assist with aid stations and
keep the riders moving forward.
Have a great weekend
